Transformational Worship Grant
In September of 2024, the Christian & Missionary Alliance was awarded a 4-year grant for studying and growing multigenerational worship within the Alliance Family and beyond. This grant was provided by our friends at the Lilly Foundation.
What is happening with this grant?
The grant will be used to equip churches to serve multiple generations in worship. The practical process is Alliance Worship providing songs, trainings, community development through cohorts, children’s books, and worship resources for our 2000 churches in the US and beyond.
What progress have we seen in 2025?
The grant started in January 2025, and the grant staff had been hired in Q1 of this year. The goals of 2025 are to build awareness, capture a baseline of our denominational acumen for multi-generational worship, and begin building effective communications systems to deliver our findings.
